Vasiliki in responsible for the organisation of the Gala of Curiosities – the main networking and audience development of the ECHO II project, which will take place in the context of the 12th Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival. She studied International and European Relations at Panteion University in Athens, and she did her MSc on International Politics at City University of London. Her research is mainly focused on EU and Southeast Europe issues with special interest in Turkey. Her professional expertise is in Digital Marketing and Communication, and her passion is on art and creativity. She is one of the co-founders, and the communication manager and festival programmer of Balkans Beyond Borders. This means that she is dealing with all the promotional activities of BBB at all fields (film festival, workshops, cultural events, research projects), and holds the communication with the filmmakers, the film festivals, the NGOs, the media and the public. She is also responsible for curating screenings and cultural events, and has been a jury member at the Aegean International Film Festival and Buzz IFF.
