PostScriptum specialises in consultancy and implementation of museum, library and archive-related software services and web presence, implements technologies creating new channels of communication in the culture sector, develops educational material, and creates and supports communities and networks.
Due to our extensive expertise and web development experience, we have undertaken the design and implementation of various websites, for both the public and private sector, using state of the art technologies, and integrating advanced CMS (Content Management Systems) and various museo-pedagogical applications – both physical and digital. Furthermore, we have planned, developed and created many corporate and product tools for institutions, organisations and corporate businesses, as well as organisations of local government.
At the same time, we have installed, integrated and customised Zetcom AG’s Museum plus (a collection management system designed to meet the multi-faceted tasks required for managing museums, collections, galleries and cultural institutions) in many Greek museums, and have helped the participation of our museum customers to the ATHENA project, by building tools to transfer artwork information to Europeana.
Currently, we are acting as a consulting agency in the intercultural dialogue of China-EU for developing multinational digital repositories for the preservation and promotion of the European-Chinese cultural heritage, while offering a kaleidoscope of cultural prοposals to the Chinese market by representing European artists in full diversity.
We are designing and implementing the digital strategy of ECHO II, indicating the best route for maximising the digital footprint of the project. In this light, we contribute to content development, digital infrastructure and data-centric architecture, interpretation and information systems, digital reuse, digital communities and digital skills.
