About this artwork
Through this painting, I am reflecting on different emblematic places I visited during my stay in the region of Prespa. Acrylic paint, as a material, allows me to share my impressions on a playful way of painting. Objects are resting on a rectangle-shaped, table-like area that is filled with patterns of the frescoes from the orthodox church of Bitola, Saint Demetrius. A ceramic plate appears in the middle of the composition. The plate is meant to highlight the importance of the Ceramic Art Colony of Resen. The whole still life is floating in a mysterious fictitious space. Every component of the painting has both personal and general meanings.
