About this artwork
“Rodopa” is the portrait of a woman as I have imagined her, surrounded by symbols of mine and symbols taken from local embroideries I saw in the museums we visited during the Art Residency in Smolyan. I found the fabric and the metal rads in the Art School of Smolyan with the help of its staff members.
