About this artwork

“Working in Torula every day in the summer heat, it was refreshing to sit outside for a little break by the small lake, where water lilies bloomed and the lake was covered with the plant’s leaves.” This is how Kinga Enzsöly described her source of inspiration, as a result of which she created a complex body of work that spans several mediums. The volume of Torula’s building itself had a great impact on her, such as the community of this independent art space, where she felt the communication to be easy and liberating. It was especially great to work in Győr, says Kinga, in a town to which she is also biographically connected to. Dust clouds, volcanic clouds, lamb clouds, cumulus clouds obscure the sky and everything else, highlighting at the same time the power of art, which, in the words of the creator, is astonishingly vast and beautiful as nature’s.
